Visual Design Challenge:
1) Create a family of navigation icons for buttons to launch a variety of Solaris system administration tools.
2) Design desktop icons for Administration Tool and for Host Manager for Solaris.
Solution:
Using Solaris Icon Editor:
1) Designed a family of icons representing the primary function of each tool for which the button launched.
2) Created an icon to implicate the ability to administer a network remotely (icon on lower left) and an icon which represented a "host" computer in the middle of a network (icon on lower right).
